Paul McCartney Wants to Release a Posthumous Duet with Prince
Paul McCartney wants to release a posthumous duet of "The Long and Winding Road" with Prince. He says he's going to talk to Prince's estate to try to make something happen.
Prince used to do the song live, but Paul didn't know about it until one of Prince's photographers sent him a live recording a few years ago.
Quote, "It's really great. And so I'm going to sort of ask [the estate], because I could make it into something really good . . . It's kind of rocky. He plays some really good guitar on it. He was a special guy."
Paul also said in his interview that Prince is a "wizard" and named his song "Kiss" as one of the 10 tracks that defines his life.

Zac Brown Married Jewelry Designer Kendra Scott
Zac Brown and jewelry designer Kendra Scott are officially married. They had a small private ceremony on Monday at a resort in Santorini, Greece. As of last night, there haven't been any photos posted.
Between Zac and Kendra, they have eight kids. Zac shares four daughters and a son with his ex-wife. Kendra has two sons with her first husband and one son with her second husband.

John C. Reilly Will Host a Tribute Concert for John Prine's 80th Birthday
John Prine would have turned 80 this fall, but he died from Covid back in 2020.
His family is planning celebrate his life and honor his memory with a tribute concert in Chicago in October. It'll be hosted by John C. Reilly and will include performances from Margo Price, Amos Lee, and Steve Earle.
His longtime band will provide all the backing support.

Down Announces North American Tour
New Orleans metal supergroup Down has announced a North American headlining tour called the "Strap It Down" tour, their first in several years, kicking off August 15 in Atlanta and running through early September. The run features Phil Anselmo, Pepper Keenan, Kirk Windstein, Jimmy Bower, and Pat Bruders, with Helmet and Spirit in the Room opening most dates. Stops include Greensboro, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Worcester, Silver Spring, Cincinnati, Chicago, and Minneapolis, plus festival appearances at Berzerkus Fest in Scranton and a slot on a Slayer-headlined show in Shakopee, Minnesota. Down has reportedly completed a new studio album, which would be their first full-length since 2007.
