The Darkness Releases Theme Song For "Masters Of The Universe"
British rock band The Darkness has released "Masters of the Universe," the official theme song for the new He-Man movie of the same name, which premiered this week in Hollywood. The track was written by brothers Justin and Dan Hawkins along with film composer Daniel Pemberton, who scored the rest of the soundtrack. Queen guitarist Brian May also contributed a guitar solo to a separate track from the film called "Eternia." The movie stars Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto as Skeletor, and Idris Elba as Man-at-Arms, and opens in theaters June 5th. The Darkness also announced a "Crock Of Hits" best-of collection due in October, followed by a UK arena tour in December. They're opening for Iron Maiden at Knebworth in July.

The Former Drummer in Hole Is Auctioning Off One of Kurt Cobain's Shirts
Former Hole drummer Patty Schemel is selling one of Kurt Cobain's T-shirts that he wore and gave to her. The current bid sits at $8,000.
The shirt has the logo for the 1980 movie "Foxes", starring Jodie Foster. Kurt wore it for a photoshoot in 1993. He and Patty watched the movie together.
Patty says, quote, "We shared an interest in 1970s and 1980s teen angst cult movies. Kurt had the soundtrack. I loved Jodie Foster who starred in it. I've kept the shirt over the years. It's a very special piece."
Patty was a member of Hole from 1992 to 1998.

Drake Makes Billboard 200 Chart History by Holding the Top Three Spots
When Drake released "Iceman" a few weeks ago, he also surprise-released two other albums called "Habibti" and "Maid of Honour". All three albums debuted in the top three spots on the Billboard 200 chart.
This is the first time in chart history that an artist has held the top three spots at the same time. "Iceman" landed at #1, "Habibti" at #2, and "Maid of Honour" at #3.
"Iceman" is now Drake's 15th #1 album. He ties Taylor Swift for the most #1 albums for solo artists. The Beatles hold the record for most #1 albums with 19.
Drake also now has 20 Top 10 albums. He surpasses Future, who has 18, to become the rap artist with the most Top 10s.
