Music: There's a Billy Joel Biopic in the Works . . . And Billy Isn't Happy

There's a Billy Joel Biopic in the Works . . . And Billy Isn't Happy

There's a Billy Joel biopic in the works. It's called "Billy and Me", and it covers Joel's early career up to his breakout hit "Piano Man".

Oh, and here's another thing about it: It's unauthorized, and Billy does NOT want it to happen.

His rep issued a statement saying the people behind the movie don't have the rights to Billy's life, and they won't get the rights to his music, either.

He added that Billy "has not authorized or supported this project in any capacity, and any attempt to move forward without it would be both legally and professionally misguided."

Watch The Foo Fighters on "Hot Ones" Dave Grohl Names the Cringiest Foo Fighters Lyric

The Foo Fighters did an episode of "Hot Ones Versus", where they had to answer questions honestly, or eat a DEATH WING.

Dave Grohl was asked to name the band's cringiest lyric. At first he said, quote, "Take your pick. I swear there's so many I hate."

Then he chose a lyric from the song "DOA", that goes, quote, "It's a shame we have to die, my dear / No one's getting out of here alive."

He said, quote, "That's so [effing] stupid. That's one of those I wrote because you guys were like, 'Dave, sing something, anything.'"

Static-X Cancels Tour Over "Medical Issues"

Static-X has canceled all of its remaining 2026 tour dates due to what the band called "serious medical issues" requiring immediate attention. The band did not specify which member or members are affected, but in a social media statement, the band apologized for the inconvenience and promised to return "bigger, stronger, and faster in 2027." Static-X has been touring in support of its two "Project Regeneration" albums, which were built around archived vocal performances and compositions from late frontman Wayne Static, who died in 2014. Bassist Tony Campos had said recently that new studio material was being discussed for after the current touring cycle.
