Americans Get More Than Half of Their Calories From Ultra-Processed Foods
If you had to guess, what percentage of your diet is made up of ultra-processed food?
A new report from Duke University says more than half of the calories American adults eat now come from ultra-processed foods. And for kids, the number is even higher.

9. "Medley." So, NOT "curated."
10. "Farm-to-table." Sounds fresh, but there's a LOT of gray area there.
11. "Hand-helds." As opposed to, you know, "sandwiches."
12. "Open-faced." As opposed to, you know, "HALF a sandwich."
13. "Amuse bouche."
14. "Cauliflower steak."
15. "Artisanal."
16. "Market price." Instead of an actually-listed price.
17. "Freshly-dug potatoes."
18. "Fresh cracked eggs." As opposed to ....
