Bring Me the Horizon's Oli Sykes Suffered a Concussion After a Fan Threw a Phone at Him.
Bring Me the Horizon singer Oli Sykes suffered a mild concussion Monday night when someone in the audience threw a phone at him.
It was during their show in St. Louis, and pretty early on in the set. They were only on their fourth song in the set, "Happy Song," when the phone cracked him in the head.
Oli was able to finish the show, but was seen holding his head at times, and a song had to be cut from the setlist. After the show, he posted an update to assure fans he's okay.
Quote, "The phone to the head definitely smarted and I ended up with a mild concussion, but the swelling's gone down a decent amount already.
"Last night I was struggling a bit on stage afterwards because singing was putting a lot of pressure on the wound and making things feel a bit disorienting, so I'm sorry on my part for what may [have] seemed like a half-hearted performance."

A Weird Al Yankovic Stage Musical Is in the Works
Weird Al Yankovic has already had a movie about his life . . . as unserious as it was . . . and now he's getting a stage musical.
It's called "Dare to Be Stupid: The Weird Al Musical". It's an original story, co-written by Al himself, and featuring songs spanning his career.
Al says, quote, "Ever since I was a middle-aged man, I've always wanted to be a part of the New York theatre community.
"Plus, the one thing people always say about Broadway is that it's 'severely lacking in Weird Al-based entertainment,' and I think this musical should fix that problem immediately."
There's no word yet on a premiere date.
"Dare to Be Stupid" is the name of Al's 1985 album, as well as its title track.
