Dave Coulier addressed fans’ concerns about his appearance in a new Instagram video, explaining that “the side effects of extensive radiation” for throat carcinoma have changed how he looks and sounds. The “Full House” star revealed he has lost 45 pounds and hasn’t been able to eat solid food for months, adding, “you’re right on with what you’re seeing and what you’re hearing.”
He added that he's had some scans and things are looking good, saying that the “prognosis looks good” for the cancer in his throat and his lymphoma. "We’re very pleased with all of that,” he added.
Coulier previously announced he was in remission from tongue cancer after also beating stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma, undergoing 35 rounds of radiation that ended in December. Reflecting on his health journey during an appearance on “Good Morning America” earlier this year, Coulier said he hopes it encourages others to “get prostate exams and mammograms” and to “talk to your doctors.”
