The Met Gala went down yesterday in New York City. It's an annual event that raises money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute.
It's also an excuse for celebrities to walk the red carpet in fancy . . . and often ridiculous . . . outfits. And ridiculous is what WE'RE interested in. Here are some of yesterday's crazier looks:
1. Madonna wore a ship on her head. Was she inspired by Jaden Smith's castle hat at the 2025 Grammys?
2. World-class astronaut Katy Perry hid her face behind a smooth chrome mask . . . although it was removable.
3. Cosplay queen Heidi Klum was a stone statue.
4. Bad Bunny had an interesting strategy: Make yourself look much older.
5. Luke Evans was in head-to-toe leather, looking like either one of the Village People, or the '80s version of Judas Priest singer Rob Halford.
7. Sarah Paulson wore a dollar bill as a blindfold. Was it a statement about how Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez bought their way into the event? (There were actually anti-Bezos protesters.)
8. Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie from "Heated Rivalry" made their Met Gala debuts.
9. Beyoncé showed up in what can probably best be described as a sparkly exoskeleton.
10. French media personality Léna Mahfouf was maybe paying tribute to Janet Jackson?
