Music: These Rock Artists Have Never Hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100

These Rock Artists Have Never Hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100

Just because an artist hit #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart doesn't mean they'll have long-term success.

Some of the biggest names in rock have never climbed to the top of the chart, despite selling out stadiums, winning Grammys, or being in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Here are some examples, along with their highest-charting single:

1.  AC/DC: Their highest charting single was "Moneytalks" at #23 in 1991.

2.  Black Sabbath:  "Iron Man" hit #52 in 1972.

3.  Bruce Springsteen:  "Dancing in the Dark" peaked at #2 in 1984.

4.  Green Day:  "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" peaked #2 in 2005.

5.  Journey:  "Open Arms" hit #2 in 1982.

6.  KISS:  "Beth" peaked at #7 in 1976.

7.  Led Zeppelin:  "Whole Lotta Love" hit #4 in 1970.

8.  Metallica:  "Until It Sleeps" peaked at #10 in 1996.

9.  Nirvana:  "Smells Like Teen Spirit" hit #6 in 1991.

10.  Red Hot Chili Peppers:  "Under the Bridge" peaked at #2 in 1992.

Former Turnstile Guitarist Facing Life In Prison

Former Turnstile guitarist Brady Ebert is now facing a potential life sentence after a Montgomery County, Maryland, grand jury upgraded his charges to attempted first-degree murder. The 33-year-old Ebert was already facing second-degree attempted murder for allegedly driving his car into 79-year-old William Yates, father of Turnstile vocalist Brendan Yates, in Silver Spring on March 29th. The elder Yates suffered a broken leg requiring surgery and a bone that pierced through the skin. The upgraded charge, which carries a maximum penalty of life in prison, indicates prosecutors believe they have evidence of premeditation, but Ebert has maintained it was self-defense. He remains held without bond and is next due in court on Friday. William Yates has since been discharged from the hospital.

Did Post Malone Cancel the Start of His Tour Due to Low Ticket Sales?

Post Malone canceled the start of his stadium tour with Jelly Roll. A total of six shows were refunded, and the tour will now kick off June 12th in Indianapolis. He said he needs more time to finish his double album before the tour starts.

But fans speculate it could've had something to do with recent reports of low ticket sales. Some of the shows were even offering discounts to try to move tickets.

Posty also added a message for those who miss his non-country stuff. Quote, "And to a lot of little stinkers that think I've forgotten about ole Stoney, I haven't."
