Starbucks Will Finally Let You Schedule Your Order Pickup
Ordering on the Starbucks app is getting an upgrade that fans have been waiting for. The coffee chain is launching scheduled ordering on May 11th, allowing customers to choose a pickup window up to an hour in advance.
It will be rolling out at stores across North America at locations where Mobile Orders & Pay is available, and it’s as simple as selecting when you want to pick up your order instead of having it made immediately. Anyone who’s ever ordered on the app in a rush and arrived at their Starbucks to find it so slammed with customers they didn’t have time to wait to get their much-needed latte or matcha will appreciate this new feature.
Now when you build an order on the app, you’ll be able to select a pickup time from available five-minute windows, and if it all works as planned, it’ll make ordering ahead more convenient and better timed. According to Starbucks, the pickup windows are based on real-time store capacity and they’re managed through the company’s order-queuing system, which is designed to balance cafe, drive-thru and mobile orders. It looks great on paper, and if it works that well in real life, coffee fans nationwide will be in and out in no time with drinks in hand.

Little Caesars’ New Drone Delivery Can Bring Pizza In Minutes
Wouldn’t it be great if you could get Little Caesars delivered right to your door without having to leave the comfort of your couch? Now folks in Wylie, Texas, can enjoy that luxury. The chain has launched a new drone delivery service there, and it’s incredibly fast.
Little Caesars has teamed up with Flytrex to have their new high-capacity drone deliver full family meals in just minutes. The Sky2 drone can carry almost nine pounds of food, which equals two large pizzas, sides, and sodas, in one trip.
Wylie is the first location to get the service, and customers within a four-mile radius of that Little Caesars can get their hot food around four and a half minutes after it comes out of the oven. Less than five minutes from takeoff to delivery is super speedy, and if things go smoothly in this Texas town, they’ll expand the drone delivery to more locations.

Record-Breaking Tiramisu, Over 14-Hundred Feet Long, Created In London
If you’re a fan of desserts, here’s something to drool about: a record-breaking tiramisu measuring 1,445 feet long was assembled in London by 100 Italian chefs. A Guinness World Records adjudicator was there to confirm the record. The massive treat was made with about 2.2 tons of mascarpone cheese, 50-thousand ladyfinger cookies, and more than three thousand eggs.
