Follow-up: That Spider Bite Landed Taylor Momsen In The Hospital

The Pretty Reckless singer, Taylor Momsen, was hospitalized in Mexico this week after a venomous spider bite she suffered about a week ago developed a spreading rash up her leg. Momsen is currently in Mexico City opening for AC/DC on the "Power Up Tour," and joked on social media that it was par for the course, noting it wouldn't be an AC/DC tour without getting bitten, a reference to an incident in 2024 when a bat bit her onstage in Seville, Spain, mid-performance. After posting an Instagram photo of her hospital visit on Tuesday, she wrote that the show must go on and let everyone know that “The show must go on,” and said she’d be performing last night. She received treatment before the earlier show as well, requiring a doctor's injection when the venom first affected her system.

2008 Slipknot-Adjacent Album Getting Record Store Day Release

One of rock's most famous unreleased albums is finally seeing the light of day. "Look Outside Your Window," a 10-track side project recorded in 2008 by four Slipknot members, is being released as part of Record Store Day, credited under the band name Look Outside Your Window rather than Slipknot. The project, featuring Corey Taylor, Jim Root, Shawn "Clown" Crahan, and Sid Wilson, was recorded during downtime from the "All Hope Is Gone" sessions and has been described as experimental, melodic, and closer to a Radiohead vibe than Slipknot's usual sound. After years of delays and repeated broken promises, a limited pressing of 2,300 vinyl copies hits participating stores on Saturday, with a broader physical and digital release expected June 12th.
