Evanescence Announces New Album, Drops First Single
Evanescence has announced their sixth studio album, "Sanctuary," is going live on June 5th; Amy Lee said the album has been more than three years in the making. The announcement came alongside the release of the lead single "Who Will You Follow," a heavy, piano-driven track produced by Zakk Cervini and Jordan Fish. It will be available digitally, on CD, and in a deluxe box set, with a double vinyl following September 4th. The album comes as the band is ramping up for a world tour, beginning June 11th in West Palm Beach, Florida, with Spiritbox and Nova Twins supporting on the North American dates. Evanescence will also appear at the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas on April 25th.

Turnstile Singer's Father Intros Band At Coachella After Surviving Attempted Murder
Turnstile's Coachella performance on Friday carried extra emotional weight after the band's former guitarist, Brady Ebert, was arrested March 29th on attempted second-degree murder charges for allegedly driving into lead singer Brendan Yates' father, Bill Yates, outside the family's Silver Spring, Maryland home. Bill appeared in a pre-recorded video that played on the big screen before the band's set, introducing the group and calling them all sons of his, and said they had been practicing in his basement for 13 years and that they had finally grown too big for it. The band said it cut ties with Ebert in 2022 over a pattern of harmful behavior, and that threats had escalated in recent months; Ebert is being held without bond.
