More People Are Planning to Buy Candy Than Food for Easter.
Easter is this Sunday, which means your kids' diet this weekend will consist of chocolate . . . sugar . . . and whatever is in Peeps.
People were asked what they were planning to buy for Easter celebrations . . . and 92% of people said CANDY. That was the #1 answer. 90% said "food."
64% said "gifts" . . . 53% said decorations . . . 51% said clothing . . . 46% said flowers . . . and another 46% said greeting cards.
Overall, Americans' spending on Easter is expected to reach a record total of $24.9 BILLION this year. That surpasses the previous record of $24 billion set in 2023. On a per-person basis, shoppers are budgeting a record high of $195, which is up from the previous record of $192 in 2023.

Yes or No? Sushi Push-Pops
If you're middle-aged, you've probably crushed a ton of PUSH-UPS. Not the exercise . . . the frozen sherbet treats.
An emerging food trend in New York City is push-pop . . . SUSHI ROLLS.
There's a place that ONLY sells them: Sushi rolls inside a thick cardboard tube that you push up to eat, like ice cream. There are several types, and they cost $16.
Does it work? Kind of . . . but it sounds like more of an eye-catching viral stunt than something practical, even for eating on the go.
You break off a smaller "stem" tube, which is filled with soy sauce. You remove the lids to both tubes, and pour some soy sauce inside the sushi roll tube. Then, you insert the smaller tube in the bottom of the larger one . . . and "push up" the sushi roll. Some people say it gets messy, while others think it's fun.
The main place that's selling these is called Suka Sushi, and the owner says they're "pumping out 400 to 500 rolls a day."
