Weezer Drops New Single, "Shine Again"

Weezer has released a new single called "Shine Again," the first taste of what will be the band's 16th studio album and their debut release on Reprise/Warner Records. The song dropped yesterday and arrives alongside the announcement of "The Gathering," a 32-date arena tour running September 8th through October 24th. The new album has not yet been given a title or release date, but the band said more details are coming. "Shine Again" marks a new chapter for Weezer, both musically and in terms of their label home, and the tour announcement suggests a full album rollout is expected before or during the fall run. You can see the official lyric video of “Shine Again” below.

Songs about the Moon to Celebrate NASA's Moon Mission

Yesterday, NASA successfully launched the Artemis II with four astronauts to do a 10-day mission around the moon.

When they circle the moon, the astronauts could reach a greater distance from Earth than anyone has before. It's a step toward landing in 2028, and NASA's goal of having a long-term presence on the moon.

In recognition of this historic event, here are 10 songs about the moon:

1.  "Moonage Daydream",  David Bowie (1972)

2.  "Bark at the Moon",  Ozzy Osbourne (1983)

3.  "Brain Damage" and "Eclipse",  Pink Floyd (1973)

4.  "Bad Moon Rising",  Creedence Clearwater Revival (1969)

5.  "Walking on the Moon",  The Police (1979)

6.  "Man on the Moon",  R.E.M. (1992)

7.  "Fly Me to the Moon",  Frank Sinatra (1954)

8.  "The Killing Moon",  Echo and the Bunnymen (1984)

9.  "Moonchild",  Iron Maiden (1988)

10.  "Moondance",  Van Morrison (1970)
