The U.S. Army Is Investigating Why Two Helicopters Were Outside Kid Rock's Home
The U.S. Army is now investigating why two of its helicopters were hovering outside Kid Rock's "Southern White House" mansion in Tennessee.
In case you didn't see, Kid posted a clip of himself standing by his swimming pool and saluting a helicopter. He said in the caption, quote, "This is a level of respect that [crap] for brains Governor of California will never know.
"God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her."
An officer said that an investigation has been initiated and that the helicopters were flying a training route in the Nashville area.
Kid doesn't think anyone will get in trouble over it. Quote, "My buddy is the commander in chief. I mean, what are they looking into? They stopped seconds . . . a minute? It was pretty cool, they stopped right there.
"I wasn't expecting any of that, but I thought it was pretty neat."

Good news for fans of Drowning Pool; guitarist C.J. Pierce says the band is aiming to release a new full-length album before the end of the year. During a recent interview, Pierce said there is already more than enough material for a complete record, but timing has been a challenge due to a heavy touring schedule. The band plans to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album "Sinner" this summer by performing it in its entirety on tour, with the anniversary run expected to keep them busy through the fall. A new LP would be their first since reuniting with singer Ryan McCombs, who rejoined the band in 2023 after a 13-year absence.
