Weezer Plays Acoustic Rooftop Set
Weezer kicked off a week of fan events in Los Angeles with a surprise acoustic rooftop set at the Hinano Cafe in Venice Beach. The five-song set was heavy on classics, including "Buddy Holly," "Say It Ain't So," and "Undone – The Sweater Song," plus "Go Away" with guest Bethany Cosentino of Best Coast. The show is part of what the band is calling "Weezer: The Gathering – Initiation Week," which also includes a trivia night and a pickleball tournament with the band. The events tie into the announcement of "The Gathering," a 32-date North American arena tour launching September 8th in Sacramento.
