Music News: Sublime Will Release their First Album in Nearly 30 Years

Sublime will release their first album in nearly 30 years, and their first with Bradley Nowell's son Jakob as frontman. 

Sublime have announced Until the Sun Explodes, their first album in nearly three decades and first full-length with singer Jakob Nowell as frontman. It’s set for release on June 12th via Atlantic Records. The title track, which also serves as the lead single, is available to stream below.

Expect to feel a bit of nostalgia when listening to the project, as it will be “rooted in the band’s classic sound while opening a new chapter,” per a press release. The LP will feature collaborators including Pennywise’s Fletcher Dragge, Bad Brains’ H.R., and G. Love.

Puddle Of Mudd's Wes Scantlin Learns His Fate In DV Case

Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin has avoided prison time in a domestic battery and drug possession case stemming from a March 2025 arrest in Torrance, California. A judge accepted a plea deal that places Scantlin in a one-year diversion program and requires him to complete drug rehabilitation. Scantlin had been arrested after police responded to reports of a physical altercation with his girlfriend and found drugs on the scene.

Theo Von Thinks He Looks Like This "Lesbian Lady" in Country

 

 

During a recent episode of "This Past Weekend", Theo Von pulled up an old promo photo for his 2013 game show, "Deal with It". He immediately thought he looked like "that lesbian lady" who sings "Life Is a Highway".

 

 

When his producer pulled up a band photo, and realized the lead singer Gary LeVox is NOT a woman, he said, quote, "Oh, there is NOT a lady in Rascal Flatts. My bad."
