The Major League Baseball season kicks off TONIGHT, Astros don't play till tomorrow.
If you're thinking that hitting up a baseball game this spring could be some cheap, family fun . . . you might want to consider a local HIGH SCHOOL game.
A new report found that the average cost of an MLB game for a family of four in 2026 is: $225.90. And that's assuming you're able to avoid the team shop.
It ranks all 30 ballparks by: the cost of four tickets (the cheapest available average across all the home games) . . . one parking lot pass . . . two 16-ounce beers . . . two 20-ounce sodas . . . and four hot dogs.
Not surprisingly, the Los Angeles Dodgers are the most expensive, at $413.
The rest of the Top Five are:
2. The Boston Red Sox . . . $373
3. The homeless Athletics, now playing in Sacramento . . . $324
4. The Chicago Cubs . . . $314
5. The San Francisco Giants . . . $284.
The Miami Marlins are the cheapest, at $159 for a family of four.
The rest of the Bottom Five are:
2. The Cincinnati Reds . . . $164
3. The St. Louis Cardinals . . . $165
4. The Los Angeles Angels . . . $166
