Krispy Kreme Introduces New Easter Basket Collection
Easter arrives a little earlier than usual on Sunday, April 5, and Krispy Kreme is introducing a new Easter Basket Collection, available today, March 24, at participating locations nationwide. Here are the three new doughnuts that make up the collection and aim to make Easter egg hunting a little more flavorful:
- Easter Egg Basket Doughnut – An Original Glazed doughnut with vanilla-flavored buttercream that’s dipped in decorative sugar and topped with an Easter egg sugar piece.
- Strawberry Egg Doughnut – An unglazed shell doughnut filled with white Kreme and dipped in strawberry-flavored icing with decorative vanilla-flavored drizzles.
- Baby Chick Doughnut – An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in vanilla-flavored icing and decorated with a baby chick sugar piece.
Allison Holder, Krispy Kreme Chief Brand and Product Officer, said, “This Easter, we’re serving up new treats alongside classics fans love. Grab a box, load up your basket, and make every egg hunt and gathering with family and friends just a little sweeter.”

What Happens to Unsold Girl Scout Cookies?
It's sad to say, but Girl Scout cookie season is winding down.
And I know it might sound surprising, but not every box of Girl Scout cookies gets sold each season. Here's what happens when they have leftover boxes . . .
Some transfer them in between troops so they can continue to sell after the season. But mostly they are focusing on donations.
Girl Scouts are encouraged to work with local food pantries and charities so leftover cookies can be shared with people in need.
And if any boxes still remain after that . . . troops can enjoy them themselves.
Happy National Cheesesteak Day!
