Metallica Announces Third Round Of Sphere Dates
For those who thought a second round of Sphere shows would handle the overwhelming demand for Metallica's upcoming residency, think again. Yesterday, the band announced a third round of shows. The new dates are February 4 & 6, 18 & 20, 25 & 27. The general on-sale for the new shows begins today. This brings the total number of scheduled shows at the iconic Vegas venue to 20. No, We Can't See Courtney Love's Entire Hole . . . Just Part of It
On Tuesday, Courtney Love posted a video of Melissa Auf der Maur, set to the Hole song "Malibu". In the caption, she said, quote, "So do we tell the kids about the tour?"
And everyone immediately thought: Hole reunion!
Except it's not. Not completely.
Spin.com reported on the possible news, and Courtney herself replied to clarify the situation. She said there's no full-on Hole reunion, but she and Melissa will be playing some shows together.
Oh, and she added that they'd be playing some NEW SONGS. There aren't any more details yet.
We haven't seen the entire Hole since April of 2012. But hey, a little Hole is better than no Hole at all, right?

Dream Theater's Spring Concert In Chile To Be Filmed, Released On Blu-Ray
Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy has confirmed that the band's April 22nd show at Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile, will be professionally filmed and recorded for a future Blu-ray release. The announcement comes after the band released "Quarantième: Live À Paris," a document of their 40th-anniversary European tour, last November. Portnoy, who co-founded the group and returned in 2023 after a 13-year absence, reunited with vocalist James LaBrie, guitarist John Petrucci, bassist John Myung, and keyboardist Jordan Rudess for the milestone tour.
