Music: Foo Fighters Release Title Track From Upcoming Album

Foo Fighters Release Title Track From Upcoming Album

Foo Fighters have released "Your Favorite Toy," the title track from their upcoming 12th album. Dave Grohl described it as the song that showed them the direction for the whole record, something they found after experimenting with different sounds for over a year. He called it the fuse to the powder keg of songs they recorded. The album "Your Favorite Toy" comes out April 24th through Roswell Records/RCA Records. The band will support the album with their Take Cover World Tour starting in June, with festival appearances at Welcome to Rockville and Bottlerock before heading overseas, then returning to the US in August.

William Shatner Is Releasing a Metal Album

Pat Boone did it.  Christopher Lee did it. And now, William Shatner is going METAL.

He's releasing an album of heavy metal covers, from bands including Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and Iron Maiden . . . in collaboration with, quote, "35 handpicked metal icons." There will also be some ORIGINAL songs.

There's no word yet on any names, but Shatner has previously worked with Zakk Wylde, Ritchie Blackmore, Wayne Kramer from the MC5, and Henry Rollins.

He's planning to have the album out this year.

He says, quote, "Metal has always been a place where imagination gets loud. This album is a gathering of force; each artist bringing their fire, their precision, their chaos.

"I chose them because they have something to say, and because metal demands honesty." The Shat turns 95 next month.

Jelly first found out back in December when he was on Joe Rogan's podcast. And it was Craig Morgan who surprised him with the invitation in a video message. Craig is one of Jelly's biggest musical influences.

And now Craig will also be performing when Jelly gets inducted . . . along with Ernest and Leanne Morgan.

A portion of ticket sales will benefit the Judge Dinkins Educational Center, which is a cause close to Jelly's heart.
