Well, this just seemed inevitable: After tearing it up over the past few days in New Orleans, Shia LaBeouf found himself in CUFFS Monday night, following a drunken brawl.
Shia was ejected from a joint called R Bar, after which he angrily punched a man several times. Then he left, but he came back, and he wasn't in a good mood.
With several people trying to hold him back, he resumed throwing punches at the guy he hit earlier. He also punched another man in the nose. A bunch of people finally took him down and restrained him until police arrived.
He was arrested and charged with two counts of simple battery.
TMZ has video of a group of guys keeping Shia on the ground outside and telling him to chill. He even absorbs some punches while he's down.

Shia has a long history of mental health issues, alcoholism, and run-ins with the law. The last we heard before his misadventures in New Orleans, he was sober.
A bartender who waited on him last Thursday said he was, quote, "terrorizing the city."
