Bad Bunny promised that the Super Bowl Halftime Show would be a party, and he wasn't lying. You may not have understood his lyrics, but the upbeat vibe was unmistakable.
There were surprises, too. Randomly placed among the musicians, dancers, and revelers were celebrities like Cardi B, Jessica Alba, Karol G, Pedro Pascal, Alix Earle, and Young Miko.
These were quick, random, blink-and-you'll-miss-them cameos. But if you think you saw any of these people in the crowd . . . you did.
There were also two guest performers: Lady Gaga . . . who sang in English to spare you from having to switch over to Kid Rock . . . and Ricky Martin.
Oh, and there was a wedding. A couple had invited Bad Bunny to their wedding, but instead, he invited them to the Super Bowl, to get married during his performance.
Bad Bunny did say one thing in English toward the end of the show. It was "God Bless America". He also flew the American flag, along with the flags of Puerto Rico and several Latin countries.
The performance ended with him spiking a football that had "Together We Are America" written on it.
Bunny's medley included hits like: "Tití Me Preguntó", "Yo Perreo Sola", "Safaera", "Party", "Voy a Llevarte Pa' PR", "Monaco", and more.

Lady Gaga sang "Die with a Smile", and Ricky Martin did Bunny's "LO QUE LE PASÓ A HAWAii".
(Here are some highlights from the show.)
Green Day's pre-game performance was relatively non-controversial, although they did do "American Idiot". Billie Joe Armstrong didn't censor the F-bomb in the song, but NBC did.
(Here are videos of Coco Jones singing "Lift Every Voice and Sing" . . . Brandi Carlile's "America the Beautiful" . . . and Charlie Puth's national anthem.)
