The Next Guns N' Roses Album Will Be All New Material
Guns N' Roses is finally ready to move on from their mediocre "Chinese Democracy" era.
Pretty much all the stuff they've released since the album came out . . . including last month's "Atlas" and "Nothin'" . . . originated during the "Chinese Democracy" sessions.
But Slash says the next album will be ALL-NEW MATERIAL. And make no mistake, it WILL be an album, if Slash has anything to say about it.
Quote, "Some of the younger kids who are sort of raised in this new fancy kind of digital era that we're in don't know about albums, really, being released as a whole. So it's a strange time. It's harder to navigate.
"But to me, it's a no-brainer. Make a record. You can do all the digital stuff in any configuration you want. But make sure that there's an album. Yeah."
Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like it's in the works yet.

The New Trend in Music is: Cigarette Mom Rock???
The shiny new trend in music is Cigarette Mom Rock.
What is Cigarette Mom Rock? Think Lilith Fair . . . gritty, mostly female alt rock from the '90s or 2000s.
Key artists include Alanis Morissette, Melissa Etheridge, Concrete Blonde, Tracy Chapman, Fiona Apple, Avril Lavigne, the Indigo Girls, and Pink.
It's the antithesis of Divorced Dad Rock, which is post-grunge hard rock from the same era, like Nickelback and Creed.
And it's catching on. There are even TikToks Spotify playlists devoted to it.
