A Navy rescue swimmer in Virginia Beach was in the right place at the right time to save a woman from drowning last Friday.
She drove her SUV off a pier, apparently on purpose. Jeremy Way was sitting down for lunch at a nearby restaurant and heard it happen. He dropped everything, jumped in the water, and got her out just in time. Three other people also dove in to help.
Someone got the rescue on video. Her entire SUV went under, and then he popped back up with her.
