Green Day, Counting Crows Teaming Up For Super Bowl Weekend Concert
Two Bay Area rock bands are teaming up for a special Super Bowl weekend concert. Green Day and Counting Crows will play an invite-only show at San Francisco's Pier 29 on Friday, February 6th, just a few days before the big game in nearby Santa Clara. The concert is sponsored by FanDuel and Spotify and will also feature a set by an as-yet-unnamed DJ. Green Day got its start in Rodeo, California, and will celebrate its 40th anniversary next year. Counting Crows formed in Berkeley in 1991.

Ghost Releases Cover Of Pet Shop Boys' "It's A Sin"
Swedish rock band Ghost has officially released their cover of the Pet Shop Boys classic "It's a Sin" on streaming services. The song was originally only available as a bonus track on the band's 2018 album "Prequelle." The announcement came through a new chapter of Ghost's ongoing mythology webseries on YouTube. The band also confirmed there won't be a new covers EP this time around as Ghost kicks off the North American leg of their Skeletour tomorrow in Orlando.

Thousands Attended Bob Weir's Memorial, and John Mayer Performed
Thousands of people turned out for Bob Weir's memorial at the Civic Center Plaza in San Francisco on Saturday.
Speakers included Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart, Joan Baez, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, and San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie.
There was also a video tribute with Willie Nelson, Sammy Hagar, Wynonna Judd, Warren Haynes, Trey Anastasio, and Bruce Hornsby.
John Mayer, who performed with Weir in Dead & Company, also spoke, and performed "Ripple" for the crowd.
A new Sphere is being built, this time at the National Harbor near Washington, D.C.
