Metallica Reportedly Close To Agreement On 2027 Sphere Residency
"The Sun" reports that Metallica is "90 percent" done with negotiations to bring the band to the Sphere in Las Vegas for a 2027 residency. Sources tell the Brit tabloid that "Metallica having a residency at the Sphere is all anyone is talking about on the Strip. They have been to see the bosses and met all the tech team to talk through and plan out a show in principle." This report follows up what Lars Ulrich said on "The Howard Stern Show" last August. When asked if the band was in talks with the Sphere folks, the drummer said, "I'm not going to confirm anything, because there's nothing to confirm. But I'm not going to deny it, because we're all such fans of this venue. All of our managers and our production people have been there and looked at it. It's something that we're considering, [but] nothing is etched in stone or green-lit. It's something that we're looking at at some point when the 2026 tour is done." He also added the band would "love" to play there.

Fleetwood Mac released "Landslide" back in 1975, and for the FIRST time ever, it debuted on Billboard's Hot 100 chart at #41 . . . thanks to being featured in the "Stranger Things" series finale.
It's crazy to believe the song was never even a Top 100 hit, given that it's certified two times platinum by the RIAA with over 2 million units sold.
A LIVE version of "Landslide" did hit the chart at #51 in 1998. It was from their 1997 album, "The Dance".
