It's official . . . Mickey Rourke did NOT start the GoFundMe campaign to raise $60,000 to pay his rent. It was his manager's assistant.
And Mickey is SO not happy about it. As the GoFundMe neared its $100,000 goal, Mickey posted a video calling it "humiliating and [effing] embarrassing."
He added, quote, "If I needed money I wouldn't ask for no charity. I'd rather stick a gun up my ass and pull the trigger."
Mickey did admit that he did a "terrible job" of managing his career. But still, he does NOT want that money. He tells his fans, quote, "Don't give any money, and if you gave money, get it back."
Meanwhile, Mickey's manager says, quote, "[This] was not done with any mal intent. The money has not gone anywhere. If Mickey decides he does not want it, the money will be returned to his fans."
