Andy Dick suffered an apparent overdose on Tuesday . . . right out in the open, on a set of concrete steps outside a building in Hollywood. And TMZ got video.
In the clip, some friends are trying to help Andy, and it appears that someone administers Narcan.
Paramedics eventually showed up, and they say Dick was NOT taken to the hospital.
TMZ actually met with Andy at his apartment yesterday . . . and he was WASTED . . . but alive. He explained that Tuesday's incident occurred because he smoked CRACK with some guy he just met.
Andy is 59, and he's been in and out of rehab . . . and jail . . . about a million times over the years.
