On Thursday, I (Rod) learned something incredible from one of your emails: 94.5 The Buzz is officially the #1 most-listened-to iHeartRadio station in the entire state of Texas.
Yes, you read that right. I first saw it in an internal email and thought, “Wait, is this real?” So I double-checked — and it’s 100% true. The data came straight from our own reporting.
We’re talking about a rock/alternative station in Houston beating out every other iHeart station across Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and the rest of the state. With roughly 860 iHeart stations nationwide and dozens right here in Texas, this is an absolutely massive.
This doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because of YOU — the most loyal, passionate, and downright awesome listeners on the planet.
You are the secret sauce. You’re the reason we get to celebrate moments like this.
From the bottom of my heart — thank you for riding with The Buzz all these years. We are beyond lucky to have you.
