What's Left of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foreigner Are Going on Tour!

Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foreigner are embarking on a co-headlining tour of North America next summer. They're calling it the Double Trouble Double Vision Tour, and it kicks off July 23rd in Atlanta.

Or maybe I should say that WHAT PASSES FOR Lynyrd Skynyrd will be touring with WHAT PASSES FOR Foreigner . . . because neither band has a single original or classic member left.

Skynyrd's longest-tenured current member is singer Johnny Van Zant. He took over for his late brother Ronnie when the band reformed in 1987, 10 years after the plane crash that killed Ronnie and put the band on ice.

In Foreigner, the guy who's been around the longest is bass player Jeff Pilson, who joined in 2004. Original singer Lou Gramm has been known to sit in for a few songs here and there, but there's no word if he will on this tour.
