Arcade Fire (the Couple) Is Splitting Up . . . Arcade Fire (the Band) Is Not
If you're an Arcade Fire fan, there's good news and bad news.
Arcade Fire the COUPLE (Win Butler and Régine Chassagne) are splitting up, but Arcade Fire the BAND is NOT. So they're trying the Fleetwood Mac thing.
In a social media post the band said "After a long and loving marriage, Win and Régine have decided to separate [after 22 years]. They continue to love, admire and support each other as they co-parent their [12-year-old] son."
They will continue their charity work together . . . and, quote, "Their bond as creative soulmates will endure, as will Arcade Fire." They add that the band looks forward to seeing all their fans on tour soon. There are no dates yet.
This isn't totally shocking. Three years ago, multiple women came forward, making sexual misconduct claims against Win. He admitted that he had affairs, but insisted that all the encounters were consensual.
Some people thought this could be the end of Arcade Fire, but Régine stood by him . . . and earlier this year, they put out a new album, "Pink Elephant".

Twenty One Pilots will perform The White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on November 8th. Twenty One Pilots have played parts of "Seven Nation Army" during their live shows before, and it's not clear if Jack White will perform at the ceremony himself; Meg has stayed out of the public eye since The White Stripes broke up in 2011. Oasis Unveils Seven-Inch Singles Box For "Wonderwall" 30th Anniversary
Oasis is celebrating the 30th anniversary of "Wonderwall" with a new limited edition vinyl box set coming out on December 12th. The song has been streamed over three billion times and remains hugely popular during their Live '25 Tour. It includes four seven-inch singles featuring 2014 remastered versions of "Wonderwall," "Some Might Say," "Roll With It," and "Don't Look Back In Anger," along with their original B-sides. That’s not the only release from the world of Oasis; Noel Gallagher has teamed up with Gibson to release a Les Paul Standard signature model electric guitar. The guitar was designed by Gallagher himself and built by Gibson USA. It sells for $2,999 and is available for a limited time through authorized dealers and Gibson Garage locations in London and Nashville.
