Twenty One Pilots Asking For The Return Of A Very Special Thumb Drive

Twenty One Pilots is asking for help getting back a USB drive that was stolen from their fan exhibit during a concert in Los Angeles on Saturday night. The drive was part of a display showing memorabilia from the band's career and contains footage from their 2020 video for "Level of Concern." During the pandemic, fans were invited to upload their own photos and videos, and a new version of the music video with that content was made available every three minutes as a way to connect with fans. The band put out a statement asking whoever took it to return it with no questions asked and full anonymity, saying the USB drive has significant meaning for the band and its history. A source close to the band says their fans are very intense and invested, and this isn't the first theft that’s happened; a kick drum was also stolen at another show on the tour.

Chappell Roan and the Killers Will Be at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Chappell Roan and The Killers have been added to the lineup for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

They'll join a bill that also includes Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat, Elton John, Beck, Brandi Carlile, David Letterman, Flea, Iggy Pop, Killer Mike, Missy Elliott, Questlove, Taylor Momsen, Teddy Swims, and Twenty One Pilots.

There's no word who on this list will induct, and who will perform . . . or who any of them are there for.

Although it's a pretty safe bet Letterman is there to induct Warren Zevon, who's going in as a musical influence. They were pals.

The other inductees include Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Soundgarden, The White Stripes, and Salt-N-Pepa.

The show goes down on November 8th.

For Way Back Wednesday, and for the sake of rock history, the first Nirvana song ever played on the radio was "Love Buzz", from their 1989 debut album "Bleach". A 7-inch vinyl pressing of the song is currently being auctioned off.

A guy named Scott Vanderpool from Sub Pop Records got a 1988 test pressing as soon as it arrived in the mail, then turned around and played it on his Seattle radio show. That's the one on the auction block as we speak.
