A Man Intentionally Put a Lit Cigar in One of Those Bank Teller Tubes
Some people still smoke cigars . . . and some banks still use those "pneumatic tubes" in their drive-thru teller windows.
A man in Bath, New York . . . in the southwestern part of the state . . . was arrested, after he placed a LIT CIGAR in the drive-thru money tube at a bank.
He did it intentionally, but it's unclear why. So we don't know if he did it out of anger . . . just to be a jerk . . . or as a TIP.
The man is a 33-year-old named Jacob Fronk . . . and he was charged with assault in the third degree and reckless endangerment in the second degree, both class A misdemeanors.
The bank employee inhaled the cigar smoke when it arrived inside the bank . . . and "required medical care." The injuries do not sound life-threatening.
