Do You have Any Tattoos You Regert? Ooops, Regret? 

A guy running for Senate in Maine was in the news this week because he had to cover up a skull-and-crossbones tattoo he says he didn't know was a NAZI reference. 

 

 

He got it after a drunken night out while in the Marines in his 20s. So a new poll asked 10,000 Americans if THEY have any tattoos they regret.

 

 

The answer they got back was a resounding yes. If you have tattoos, there's roughly a one in four chance you have regrets.

28% of people with tattoos said they regret at least one of them.

That said, the poll found tattoos have become a lot more acceptable over the years. Less than a third of us now have an "unfavorable" opinion of them in general.

 

6% even said they'd be MORE likely to vote for a politician who had visible tattoos on their body.
