John Mulaney just dropped some huge news for his hometown…he’s taking over Wrigley Field. The “Everybody’s Live” comic will be the first comedian ever to headline the historic ballpark, where legends like Pearl Jam and Paul McCartney have played. The big night is locked in for July 11th, right in the heart of Cubs country.
Mulaney revealed the gig mid-game during the Cubs vs Mets matchup, joking, “If Mark Grace could come out there every day and just deliver [while] ripping cigarettes, I can face down this crowd too. I’m so excited for it.” The announcement comes as his “Mister Whatever" comedy tour rolls on, with stops in Boston, North Carolina, Vegas, Detroit, Cleveland, and Dallas.
