Working On A New Album
Here’s something no one saw coming. The Avett Brothers and Mike Patton from Faith No More have teamed up for a surprising new collaboration album called "AVTT/PTTN," coming out November 14th. The unlikely pairing came together after years of mutual admiration and trading song ideas across the country. Scott Avett said Patton was part of their musical DNA growing up and that they studied him when they were younger. Patton joked that his goal was to become like a long-lost brother who was "kept in the chicken coop" and brought out years later. They released the first single "Eternal Love" along with the announcement. Scott Avett described the project as what art should be, made "in secret and with no ambition."
