The Latest Updates on the Charlie Kirk Assassination

There have been several developments in the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Here's the latest:

1. The FBI released photos of a potential suspect in the shooting. He appears to be a college-age male, wearing a black shirt, a baseball hat and sunglasses.

There's no word on his identity, but authorities also took a security camera from a home near Utah Valley University's campus. They think it may have caught the suspect as he fled the shooting.

The rifle allegedly used in the shooting has been recovered, and law enforcement sources say it contained ammo engraved with, quote, "transgender and anti-fascist ideology."

3.  Joe Rogan and Charlie Sheen learned of Kirk's death while doing Joe's podcast.  (WARNING: You can watch the UNCENSORED video here.)

4. Comedy Central has pulled a recent episode of "South Park" called "Got a Nut" from its rotation, because it made fun of Charlie. As of yesterday, you could still stream it or watch it on demand.

5. Just two days before Charlie was killed, Jezebel.com ran an article titled "We Paid Some Etsy Witches to Curse Charlie Kirk". After his death, they added a disclaimer saying they don't endorse political violence.

6.  Harvey Levin from TMZ apologized, because during their coverage of Charlie's death on Wednesday, laughter could be heard from employees offscreen. Harvey claims they were watching an unrelated video of a car chase.

7.  President Trump will posthumously award Charlie Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom

Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed yesterday while speaking on a college campus. He was only 31 years old, and had a wife and two young children.

Kirk was speaking at an outdoor event at Utah Valley University when he was shot in the neck, sending the crowd running.

Political figures on both sides of the aisle condemned the shooting, with President Trump saying, quote, "The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead.

"He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!"

A "person of interest" was detained, then released. So it sounds like the shooter is still at large.

Again... Charlie was married with two young kids!
