Music News: Radiohead Announce First Live Dates In Seven Years

Radiohead Announce First Live Dates In Seven Years.

Radiohead announced their first live shows in seven years, with 20 concerts across five European cities in November and December. The band will play multiple nights in Madrid, Bologna, Copenhagen, Berlin, and London, where they'll perform four consecutive shows at the O2 Arena. Their last performance was in Philadelphia on August 1st, 2018, after their "A Moon Shaped Pool" tour. Drummer Philip Selway explained that the band got together to rehearse last year "just for the hell of it" after their seven-year break. He said it felt really good to reconnect with their musical identity and made them want to play shows again. Selway added that while these are the only planned dates for now, "who knows where this will all lead." Tickets will only be available through registration at radiohead.com to help get them directly to fans and avoid touts and bots. Registration opens tomorrow and closes Sunday.

NINE INCH NAILS Shares Music Video For 'As Alive As You Need Me To Be'

Wednesday, NINE INCH NAILS dropped the official music video for "As Alive As You Need Me To Be" — the album's first single and the first official music from the band in five years. The track is featured in the new trailer for "Tron: Ares", which was unveiled in July. Disney's "Tron: Ares" will be released in U.S. theaters on October 10. The striking visual, directed by Maxime Quoilin, evokes the sense of escalating pressure heard in the song, drawing on the lyric "all these hands have got a hold of me." Ryan Hahn served as producer and mtla.studio provided creative direction.

NINE INCH NAILS kicked off the North American leg of their acclaimed "Peel It Back" world tour on August 6 at Oakland Arena in Oakland, California. The 26-date, sold-out run includes a Houston show next Friday night. SOLD OUT... Keep listening to us to win tickets!. BOYS NOIZE support on all dates.

Oli Sykes Says Bring Me The Horizon Has 12 Songs Left Over From Their Last Album They Want To Release

Bring Me The Horizon has 12 unreleased songs left over from their 2024 album "Post Human: Nex Gen" that frontman Oli Sykes wants to release. Sykes originally planned to put out new music this year, with singles timed around their summer festival appearances at Rock Am Ring and Reading And Leeds. However, those plans were delayed when he became a father to twins in July. Sykes told NME he called his label and management, saying he had "12 songs and they're all bangers" that were almost ready. He acknowledged that while the music will eventually come out, it's not urgent since they just released an album, and most bands would take a two-year break. They're set to tour North America this fall starting with Louder Than Life festival on September 21st.
