An Air France pilot recently made an emergency landing to save a woman's life. And on her way out the door, she FLIPPED HIM OFF.
It's not clear what kind of health issue she was dealing with, or where the flight originated. But the plane was over northern Canada when it made a sharp turn to the right and headed for an airport in Newfoundland.
A passenger shared two clips of the pilot coming on the P.A. to explain the situation. First he says they're making an emergency landing, and you can see paramedics waiting on the tarmac when they land.
Then they take off again, and he comes back on the intercom to tell everybody what happened.
He says they "saved her life" but that she was "a bit angry" when they took her off the plane and, quote, "gave us the finger" on her way out.
Multiple people in the comments said they wish airlines would "normalize pilot gossip on the P.A." Another joked that flight attendants are usually the ones who serve the "tea."
