Sharon Osbourne doesn't think Ozzy's final show raised $190 million. She says the false reporting is "ridiculous".
The $190 million figure was shared on Instagram in a since-edited post by Tom Morello, who served as the curator of the festival, which not only featured the final performances by Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, but also sets from Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Pantera, and many more rock and metal acts. That led multiple outlets, including Consequence, to report on that amount.
With 40,000 in attendance and a report that over 5 million people watched the paid livestream at $30 a pop, the $190 million figure, while sensational, seemed realistic. However, Sharon says the numbers were grossly inflated, and the final number will be nowhere near that amount.
The proceeds, when finally counted, will be split between Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice, all of which may have thought they were receiving a lot more than they will ultimately get.
“Oh my God! It’s the Children’s Hospital, a children’s hospice, and Parkinson’s research,” exclaimed Sharon. “Everybody thinks that they’re going to cure everything with this much money, but it’s not the real world.”

Jeezy Took a *10-Hour* Uber Ride to Make It to a Concert After His Flight Was Canceled.
Have you ever had tickets to a show that had to be canceled because an artist wasn't able to make it for some reason? Well, Jeezy was NOT going to let that happen.
Jeezy had a show in Baltimore on Friday, August 1st . . . but there was a big problem. He'd just performed in Atlanta, and his flight up to the Baltimore / D.C. areas was canceled . . . and his team couldn't find another flight in time.
So, they arranged for a car to pick him up and drive him to Baltimore. But two hours into the drive, there was another problem: They hit an object in the road, and it punctured their gas tank. It was bad . . . fuel was leaking everywhere.
Jeezy was in South Carolina at that point . . . about 10 hours away . . . and he wasn't about to give up on Baltimore. So he called an Uber. (???)
Initially, Jeezy only requested a ride to a rental car place . . . but about eight minutes into the ride, he straight up told the driver he needed to get to Baltimore, and asked how much the guy would charge him to get there.
The driver was a guy named Tanner, and he just kept driving. Jeezy didn't say how much it cost him, but 10 hours later, they finally made it to Baltimore. And he got to the concert with just 10 minutes to spare.
Jeezy told the story at the show . . . and even brought Tanner onstage to personally thank him again in front of the crowd. Tanner called it "a great night."
