Funny Ozzy-isms to Remember the Prince of Darkness

It's been three days since we lost our Prince of Darkness. So "Rolling Stone" magazine put together a list of some of Ozzy Osbourne's most memorable quotes.

Here are six Ozzy-isms:

1. "The thing about life that gets me crazy is that by the time you learn it all, it's too late to deal with it. It should be the other way around. We should be born with all this sense and knowledge, and then get stupider as we get older."

2. "Viagra's a great sleeping drug. I take Viagra, and Sharon goes right to sleep."

3. "Sometimes I'm scared of being Ozzy. But it could have been worse, I could have been Sting."

4. "Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols once said to me, 'I hated the Beatles.' To me, that's like saying you hate air."

5. "My son, Jack, gets pissed off sometimes. He said to me one day, 'Dad, the difference is whether people are laughing with you or at you.' I said, 'As long as they're laughing, it doesn't matter.'"

6. "I guarantee that if I was to die tonight, tomorrow it would be, 'Ozzy Osbourne, the man who bit the head off a bat, died in his hotel room…' I know that's coming. But I've got no complaints. At least I'll be remembered."

In other Ozzy news . . .

His daughter Kelly broke her silence yesterday by posting lyrics from "Changes". She said, quote, "I feel unhappy, I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had."

Kelly and Ozzy recorded their version of the song in 2003 with revised lyrics.

Lita Ford also paid tribute to Ozzy by performing their duet, "Close My Eyes Forever".

David Lee Roth gave a salute to Ozzy at his show Tuesday night. Quote, "I once asked a Buddhist monk, 'Do you think there's laughter in heaven?' And he told me, 'No, I don't think so.'

"So, Ozzy, save me a seat, and when I get to hell, we'll have a drink, brother."

The ALAMO is also paying their respects, and remembering the time in 1982 when Ozzy peed on one of their monuments . . . which he later apologized for.
