Maybe the DMV should take note: The TSA is continuing to make changes . . . to make us all hate them less.
Two weeks after the TSA nixed their shoes-off policy, they've announced that they're adding dedicated, new "Family Lanes" at security checkpoints.
They're only available at a few major airports to start . . . including Orlando International, Charlotte-Douglas International, Daniel K. Inouye International in Hawaii, and John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California.
More will be added in the coming months.
The TSA says the new family lanes are supposed to help "mitigate the unique challenges families face when traveling, and minimize stress while maintaining the highest level of security."
This is one of those rare "win-wins" . . . where parents don't have to worry so much about holding up the line . . . and everyone else doesn't have to worry so much about families holding up the line.
They'll also offer discounted TSA PreCheck rates for families . . . $15 off . . . and they've been adding "Honor Lanes" for the military community. They are already available in 11 airports and will be expanded nationwide.
Delta Air Lines is leaning into dynamic ticket pricing, which uses artificial intelligence to individually determine the HIGHEST fee you'd willingly pay for flights.
