After I got off work at 3 a.m., I was hungry and craved wings, so I went to House of Pies in Katy and got the wings that I was craving.
Saturday was a well-needed recovery day, so nothing happened other than sleep and work again. Ounday was a little more exciting. Mavis was slightly concerned with all the thunder and wouldn't let me watch the Astros game.
After the Astros won, it was time to get ready for the Guatemala vs Canada Gold Cup game. Canada was thinking that the same rules that applied to hockey also applied to soccer because they were playing dirty. Guatemala toughed it out, ended up winning the game in penalty kicks, and sent those mounties back to hockeyland. SORRY ROD.

After all the excitement of my birth nation winning, it was time to support my homeland of the USA vs Costarica Rica. It was an exciting game, and again it went to penalty kicks, where AMERICA won. The USA goalkeeper was as glorious as the American Bald Eagle.
