"Old People Smell" Can Be Cured . . . with Mushrooms?

What do these things have in common: A church basement . . . JoAnn Fabrics . . . a bingo hall . . . Golden Corral . . . and the White House?

OLD PEOPLE SMELL is a REAL thing. It's not just a mix of moth balls, decorative soaps, cabbage soup, and unwrapped butterscotch candies.

Technically, it is a body odor . . . but it's NOT hygiene-related. There's a compound called 2-Nonenal that's created by chemicals in the body breaking down over time. Old people secrete 2-Nonenal, which produces their smell.

But there's a chance you CAN do something about it. A report says eating MUSHROOMS up to four times a week might help eliminate it . . . especially shiitake, oyster, and button mushrooms.

There are two rare compounds found in them (ergothioneine and spermidine). They work from within the body to combat the formation of 2-Nonenal.

If you don't like mushrooms, there are mushroom extracts you could try . . . or possibly adding more legumes, peas, and soy to your diet.
