Music News: Finger Eleven Says First New Album In Ten Years Is Done

Finger Eleven Says First New Album In Ten Years Is Done

Canadian rock band Finger Eleven finished their first new album in 10 years, called “Last Night On Earth.” Guitarist James Black shared in an interview that the album is complete and will be released through their new label, Better Noise Music. Their latest single, “Adrenaline,” has a lot of energy, which excited lead singer Scott Anderson because he says it kept its spark from the demo to the final version. The band, originally from Burlington, Ontario and now mostly based in Toronto, took their time with this album, using the long gap since their last record, "Five Crooked Lines" in 2015, to look at their songs with fresh eyes.

Fan Struck in Head by a Firework at the Post Malone and Jelly Roll Concert in Toronto

Post Malone and Jelly Roll are on their Big [Butt] Stadium Tour and they really started off with a bang.

Except when a firework from their stage hit a fan in the head in Toronto. That was too much of a bang.

Luckily the fan seems to be mostly okay. But she suffered burns on her scalp.

The wildest part about it was the fan was filming Jelly sing "Save Me". And you hear the lyrics, "I'm so damaged beyond repair" . . . and then a flying projectile hits her in the head and her hair starts to smoke.

You can't make this stuff up.

She posted later from a hospital bed with the caption, "Ouch I have a burn now, it hurts."

And what's crazy, is that apparently this is not the first time this has happened to a fan at a Post Malone show. It made the local news, and another woman commented about having pieces of firework go down the back of her jacket at a previous show.

So, maybe dial back the explosives a bit, boys?

The comments were full of people hoping that Jelly and Post would be in touch and either pay for her medical expenses, or hook her up with free tickets to a show.

But if she does show up to a future show, she better keep her head on a swivel.

Kenny Chesney Leads a Sing-Along After the Sound Goes Out at the Las Vegas Sphere

The Sphere in Las Vegas cost $2.3 billion to make. So, you'd hope that would mean it was immune from tech issues? Well, you'd be wrong.

During Kenny Chesney's show all of the sound and visuals went out, but that didn't keep Kenny from entertaining the crowd.

He and his band had fun with it, and took it in stride.

Kenny even led everyone in a sing-along of "Living in Fast Forward".

James Blunt's "You're Beautiful" Is Actually About a Stalker on Drugs

You've probably always thought the 2005 hit "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt was a love song. And you'd be right, if your definition of love involves STALKING.

James celebrated the song's 20th anniversary on Friday by revealing its TRUE meaning.

Quote, "20 years ago today, I released a song that bought me this house. Whoever thought a song about being high as a kite on drugs, stalking someone else's girlfriend, would resonate quite so much?

"Thank you. You guys are beautiful."
