Remember "Star Search"? It was basically the original "America's Got Talent". It ran from 1983 to 1995, and there was a brief revival from 2003 to 2004.
And now, Netflix is bringing it back. At their Upfront presentation yesterday, they announced that their new version will air LIVE. They didn't say when, though, or who'll be involved.
They also announced a new movie called "Here Comes the Flood". It's a heist thriller starring Denzel Washington and Robert Pattinson.
Then there's "Fight for '84", a movie based on the real-life story of the plane crash that killed the U.S. Olympic Boxing Team in 1980. Jamie Foxx will play the coach brought in to rebuild the team for the 1984 games.
Returning series include "Bridgerton", "The Four Seasons", and "The Diplomat".
