A woman in Northern Ireland named Kathryn Stewart just got married, and her wedding party was slightly bigger than most.
She ended up with NINETY-FIVE BRIDESMAIDS.
She said she started with seven or eight, which is where most weddings top out. But she runs a dance school and eventually decided to just include ALL of her dancers.
Her new husband Jack did NOT follow suit. She had 95 bridesmaids, and he had eight groomsmen.
The entire wedding was 250 people, and 103 of them were in the wedding party. So over 40% of the guests at their wedding were also IN their wedding.
All of them walked down the aisle, but Kathryn said it went faster than you'd think. Photos weren't a problem either, because they're dancers who, quote, "know how to get in formation and organize themselves very quickly."
We figured 95 bridesmaids had to be a record, but no. A crazy AMERICAN woman named Tina Ackles still wears the crown. She got married in Tampa, Florida in 2015 . . . with 168 bridesmaids. (USA! USA!)
