A Woman Was Speeding at 102 MPH with a Toddler, Because She Was Late to "Thomas the Train"
The great thing about Thomas the Tank Engine is that he's always on time . . . and he's NOT A SPEED DEMON putting young children in danger.
A 37-year-old woman in New York named Danielle DaSilva was caught speeding at 102 miles per hour on Sunday morning, and she had a two-year-old in the SUV at the time. There was also an adult male passenger in the vehicle.
When the officer asked why she was driving recklessly, she explained that she was late for a "Thomas the Train" event.
She was charged with reckless driving . . . reckless endangerment in the second degree . . . risk of injury to a minor . . . and failure to stop on the right side of the road. She was released on $500 bond.
