If you follow football, you've probably heard about Shedeur Sanders. He's the son of Deion Sanders, and he was a college quarterback who was SUPPOSED to be one of the top picks in the NFL Draft.
But he didn't go #1 . . . or #2 . . . or #3. He was forced to wait until the THIRD DAY of the draft, when he was finally selected by the Cleveland Browns with the 144th pick.
But his shocking fall wasn't the only mystery.
On Day Two of the NFL Draft on Friday, Shedeur was still waiting around with friends and family for a call, when his phone rang. The person on the other side said they were the GM of the New Orleans Saints.
They said, "It's been a long wait man . . . we're going to take you with our next pick . . . but you're going to have to wait a little bit longer, man. Sorry about that." And then they hung up.
Shedeur was being filmed at the time . . . and he was confused. Everyone who was with him was asking what happened, and he said he didn't know.
They eventually figured out that someone was trolling him or something.
The thing is: It couldn't have been a normal prank call, because he got this number specifically for the draft . . . so no one other than the teams would have it.
Well, yesterday the prank caller came forward. It was a 21-year-old named Jax Ulbrich . . . the son of Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich.
Jax apologized in a social media post saying, quote, "I'm so sorry I took away from your moment, it was selfish and childish. I could never imagine getting ready to celebrate one of the greatest moments of your life . . .
"And I made a terrible mistake and messed with that moment. Thank you for accepting my call earlier today, I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me."
The Falcons also apologized to Shedeur.
(Here's the UNCENSORED video of the prank call.)
