The Chainsmokers Crashed a Frat Party, and Paid the Fine When the Cops Showed Up
The Chainsmokers crashed a frat party in Arizona, but only 13 minutes into their set, the cops showed up and threatened to start arresting anyone who was underage.
In a clip they posted on Instagram, the Chainsmokers said they "paid the fine" in order to keep playing for another 15 minutes.
They didn't say what the fine was for. They also didn't say what college they were at.
The set included "Roses" and "Closer".

Check out the new Puddle of Mudd single "Beautimous".
Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons lately. At the beginning of March, he blamed a disastrous performance on getting roofied by his ex-bassist. Just a couple weeks later, he was arrested on felony domestic violence and drug charges. But despite his behavior and legal issues, the band is putting out a new album.
They announced the news on Monday (April 21), revealing Kiss the Machine is set to come out on May 2nd. Puddle of Mudd also shared the lead single, "Beautimous."
“This album was a moment of clarity – me looking in the mirror,” Scantlin said in a statement about the project. “I was there night after night in the studio, learning, recording, pushing myself, and making sure every part of it felt authentic. I’m super proud of how it all came together.”
“I just want people to feel something – to smile, and have some hope in their hearts," he added. "Music has the power to heal, and if these songs help someone through a tough time, that means everything to me. That’s what this album is all about.”
Speaking of tough times, last month was not Scantlin's first run-in with the law. Last August, he was pepper sprayed during a standoff with police after refusing to get out of his vehicle and in 2023 he was arrested for trespassing at his old residence.
Listen to "Beautimous" below.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2025 will be announced Sunday night on "American Idol".
